Tokyo born and raised, Akiko first worked in Matsuya Ginza to pay her way through Japan’s most respected design college Bunka Fukusou Gakuin. The strict curriculum and relentless workload gave Akiko the drive and discipline to launch her own label KENVIKY in 2008.
