Old Dutch is the purveyor of the original Moscow Mule Mug. Founded in 1950 by young Dutch immigrant Emanuel Kan, Old Dutch’s first warehouse was Emanuel’s mother’s apartment in the Hell’s Kitchen neighborhood of New York City. The company’s main products then were copper tea kettles and porcelain serveware. Sixty-plus years later, Old Dutch is still family-owned but now has a proper warehouse. While they’ve expanded into new materials and products, they’ve retained their founder’s mission of value, quality and good design.
